The Dayton Foundation

The Braxton Miller Foundation has a fund with the Dayton Foundation, and donors can contribute to our fund in multiple ways via the foundation.

Monetary Donations

The most common type of donation is a monetary donation. Those who want to donate money can do so in two ways, both of which are tax-deductible

Individual donation: A dollar-for-dollar write-off of up to 100% of your adjusted gross income. Speak with your accountant for more information.
Company donation: A dollar-for-dollar write-off on your state income taxes (not your IRS return). Speak with your accountant for more information.

Other ways to make a monetary donation:

Monetary donors may choose to donate stocks in lieu of cash. We’ll sell the stocks for cash; the donor won’t have capital gains and will be eligible for a deduction. Stock donations can only be done through our fund at the Dayton Foundation. Speak with your accountant for more information.
Monetary donors may also choose to sponsor a low-income child to attend one of our youth sports events. Please email us at info@thebraxtonmillerfoundation.org to learn how to sponsor a child at an event.

Mail-in Donations

Those who wish to send donations directly to The Braxton Miller Foundation can mail them to P.O. Box 10798, Columbus, OH 43201.

In-Kind Donations

Those looking for another way of supporting youth sports may consider making an in-kind donation. These donations consist of non-monetary gifts – goods and services such as promotional merchandise or the use of a venue.

Amazon Smile

We also work with Amazon Smile to provide another means of donating. Amazon Smile is easy to use; all you have to do is request The Braxton Miller Foundation as your charity, and Amazon will automatically donate 0.5% of eligible purchases to the foundation.
